Welcome! I’m Candice the founder of The Eco Hub & I’m so happy you stopped by to say hi! If you’re looking for smart ideas for healthy, green living that fit into an already full life, you’re in the right place.
A bit more about me: I began my eco journey 30 years ago as an Environmental Journalist at The Weather Network. While covering that beat, I got to meet so many wonderful people in the green space, many of whose stories were not being covered in the mainstream media. So, I left my job to create, host, and produce the first eco-themed TV show in Canada, A Greener Toronto, which was almost 16 years ago. Since then, I have created 3 more eco-shows and a 13-part documentary series on climate change issues. To date, I have produced over 1,000 eco-themed segments for a range of TV productions.
I decided to start this website to help educate and empower people to make simple, mindful choices that lead to a healthy home and planet.
The Eco Hub is my life’s work and I am so proud of all the people that make it such a huge success. Thank you for being one of them, simply by stopping by. This website is a collection of my 30 years of experience, where I give you, my readers, tips, and advice on how to navigate eco-friendly living. I believe that one person can make a difference, and collectively, we can make the change needed to sustain us and the planet we call home.
