135+ Canadian Sustainable Clothing Brands: Ethical Clothing Masterlist
Gone are the days of scrambling to find Canadian Sustainable Clothing Brands. There are now tons of brands offering slow fashion alternatives that won’t weigh on your conscience. In this article, you will find a list of more than 135 sustainable and ethical Canadian clothing brands you can reach for – for anything from clothing to shoes, bags, and accessories. All are proudly designed or made in Canada – or both – and definitely free from greenwashing or any unethical practices.
Like my go-to 75+ ethical and sustainable clothing brands, you will find useful information about each of the Canadian brands featured – including their price range, the materials used, manufacturing details, certifications, and more.
Before we jump into all the goodies, I must remind you that while reaching for ethical clothing made in Canada is a great way to reduce your ecological footprint; nothing beats secondhand clothing when it comes to truly ethical and sustainable fashion. I have lots of great thrift shopping tips to help with that too.
You must also be mindful of how you dispose of your clothing. Do consider a clothing swap or simply renting a dress for those big occasions rather than purchasing it.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s dive into some of the best ethical fashion brands from Canada.
Pricing guide:
$: Typically under $50
$$: Typically $50–$100
